US wage and hour calculators
Federal law (the FLSA) sets the floor: a $7.25 minimum wage and 1.5× pay after 40 hours in a workweek. States can go further, and many do. Thirty states and D.C. set a higher minimum wage, and a few — California, Alaska, Colorado, Nevada — also count overtime by the day.
