Canada overtime and severance calculators
Most Canadian workers are covered by their province or territory, not by Ottawa. That is why overtime starts after 44 hours a week in Ontario and Alberta, 40 in Quebec and British Columbia, and 48 in Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island — and why several provinces also count overtime after 8 hours in a day.
