Lithuania Overtime Rules
Lithuania's standard week is 40 hours. Overtime is paid at at least +50% (1.5×), rising for night, weekend and public-holiday work.
- Overtime is paid at at least +50% of the regular hourly wage.
- Higher rates apply for night and weekend work (+100%) and public holidays (+200%).
- Overtime may not exceed 8 hours a week (or 12 with consent) and 180 hours a year.
This applies the +50% rate for regular overtime; night, weekend and holiday work is higher. A collective agreement can set a higher rate.
